# Pathr vs Orbit

The clearest difference is ads: Pathr at none against Orbit's shown. Pathr also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Orbit's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pathr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Orbit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pathr ships an update every 4 months, Orbit every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
