# Text to PDF Converter vs Text Message Export

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Text to PDF Converter at 100% against Text Message Export's 10%. Text to PDF Converter also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Text Message Export's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text to PDF Converter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Text Message Export sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Text Message Export holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 84 and 132 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Text to PDF Converter's written reviews are positive against 10% of Text Message Export's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Text to PDF Converter ships an update every 2 months, Text Message Export every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
