# Card Grading AI vs Centered Cardboard

The clearest difference is ads: Centered Cardboard at none against Card Grading AI's shown. Card Grading AI's advantage is ratings volume (615 vs 60) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Card Grading AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Centered Cardboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Card Grading AI against 4.9 for Centered Cardboard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Card Grading AI has 615 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Card Grading AI's written reviews are positive against 100% of Centered Cardboard's.

Card Grading AI ships an update every 10 days, Centered Cardboard every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
