# Zero vs Ember

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ember at every 10 days against Zero's monthly. Zero's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zero sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ember sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zero ships an update monthly, Ember every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
