# ElapsedTimes vs SnapNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: SnapNote at every 2 days against ElapsedTimes's every 5 weeks. SnapNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElapsedTimes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SnapNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ElapsedTimes ships an update every 5 weeks, SnapNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
