# maxim ru vs eSIM.BLACK

The clearest difference is rating: maxim ru at 4.5 against eSIM.BLACK's 3.5. maxim ru also leads on ratings volume (168 vs 2). eSIM.BLACK's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (50% vs 31%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

maxim ru holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: maxim ru has 168 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of maxim ru's written reviews are positive against 50% of eSIM.BLACK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

maxim ru ships an update every 3 weeks, eSIM.BLACK every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
