# Victus vs HYDROX

Victus and HYDROX both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of HYDROX's written reviews are positive against 33% of Victus's. HYDROX also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). Victus's advantage is ratings volume (58 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Victus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and HYDROX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Victus against 5.0 for HYDROX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Victus has 58 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of Victus's written reviews are positive against 100% of HYDROX's.

Victus ships an update every 9 days, HYDROX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
