# AI vs Instant Jot

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI at every 5 days against Instant Jot's every 11 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Instant Jot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI ships an update every 5 days, Instant Jot every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
