# Metrix vs SplitCut

The clearest difference is ads: Metrix at none against SplitCut's shown. Metrix also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metrix sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year and SplitCut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
