# Cardwheel vs MegaIoop

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cardwheel at 43% against MegaIoop's 0%. Cardwheel also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (45 vs 15). MegaIoop's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cardwheel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MegaIoop sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MegaIoop holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Cardwheel's written reviews are positive against 0% of MegaIoop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cardwheel ships an update every 8 days, MegaIoop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
