# Bobadex vs Palmetto

The clearest difference is rating: Palmetto at 4.8 against Bobadex's 4.0. Palmetto also leads on ratings volume (675 vs 4). Bobadex's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 43%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Palmetto holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palmetto has 675 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Bobadex's written reviews are positive against 43% of Palmetto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bobadex ships an update fortnightly, Palmetto every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
