# Prestuds vs Syllabus AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prestuds at every 2 days against Syllabus AI's every 5 weeks. Prestuds also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prestuds sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Syllabus AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prestuds ships an update every 2 days, Syllabus AI every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
