# NoteStream vs ProjectBoard

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteStream at fortnightly against ProjectBoard's every 2 months. NoteStream also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NoteStream ships an update fortnightly, ProjectBoard every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
