# Note Together vs MyScanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyScanner at every 5 days against Note Together's every 2 weeks. MyScanner also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). Note Together's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Together sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MyScanner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Note Together against 5.0 for MyScanner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScanner has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Note Together ships an update every 2 weeks, MyScanner every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
