# SkillForge vs SkillQuest

The clearest difference is ads: SkillQuest at none against SkillForge's shown. SkillForge's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillForge sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SkillQuest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillForge ships an update every 3 weeks, SkillQuest every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
