# SkillForge vs Stactra

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stactra at every 6 days against SkillForge's every 3 weeks. SkillForge's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillForge sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Stactra sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillForge ships an update every 3 weeks, Stactra every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
