# Fitness Forever vs Pulse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fitness Forever at none against Pulse's 2. Fitness Forever also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Pulse's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulse sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Fitness Forever asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fitness Forever ships an update every 2 months, Pulse every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
