# Rodeo vs Outies

The clearest difference is rating: Outies at 5.0 against Rodeo's 4.5. Outies also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). Rodeo's advantage is ratings volume (163 vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Outies holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rodeo has 163 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Rodeo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Outies's.

Rodeo ships an update every 6 days, Outies fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
