# Censorify vs Redact

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Redact at none against Censorify's 4. Redact also leads on ads (none vs shown). Censorify's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Censorify sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Redact asks for nothing beyond the download.

Censorify ships an update every 10 days, Redact every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
