# Gravity Notes vs Hotstash

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gravity Notes at daily against Hotstash's fortnightly. Hotstash's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Hotstash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gravity Notes ships an update daily, Hotstash fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
