# Fast VPN vs VPN Snake Lite

The clearest difference is rating: Fast VPN at 4.0 against VPN Snake Lite's 2.0. Fast VPN also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). VPN Snake Lite's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (17% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fast VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and VPN Snake Lite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fast VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Snake Lite has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Fast VPN's written reviews are positive against 17% of VPN Snake Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fast VPN ships an update every 2 days, VPN Snake Lite weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
