# TimeWithKids vs Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Widget at none against TimeWithKids's shown. Widget also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeWithKids sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeWithKids ships an update every 6 months, Widget every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
