Build confidence with everyday Estonian: listen to a sentence, say it aloud and keep practicing. Estonian combines illustrated learning sessions, pronunciation practice, podcasts and vocabulary review for English-speaking learners. LEARN SENTENCES YOU CAN USE Work through themed Really Learn Estonian sessions with illustrations, English meanings and Estonian audio. Listen, repeat and review the sentences, then continue where you left off. LISTEN THROUGH STORIES Explore Estonian podcasts with English explanations. Follow topics such as Estonian culture, everyday life and travel, and return to episodes as your listening skills grow. PRACTICE SPEAKING OUT LOUD See an English word or phrase, say it in Estonian and compare the recognized words with the expected answer. Speech-recognition feedback helps you spot what to try again; it is practice feedback, not a professional pronunciation assessment. LISTEN AND REPEAT WITH ECHO MODE Hear the Estonian phrase before repeating it. Switch to Translate mode to recall the Estonian from its English meaning. Use typed answers when speech recognition is unavailable. BUILD AND REVIEW YOUR VOCABULARY Browse words and phrases by topic, hear their pronunciation and revisit vocabulary with spaced repetition. Add your own words and learning material to make practice relevant to you. KEEP YOUR LEARNING HABIT Track practice streaks, word mastery and learning progress. Return to your sessions and make regular practice part of your day. The interface and explanations are in English, with Estonian learning content. Speech practice requires microphone permission and an available Estonian speech-recognition service; availability and accuracy depend on your device and operating system. Some audio and speech features may require an internet connection.
