# Countdown vs Awaited

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown at none against Awaited's 1. Awaited's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Awaited sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Countdown asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown ships an update every 5 weeks, Awaited fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
