# Phantom Word vs みんなのふつう

The clearest difference is ads: Phantom Word at none against みんなのふつう's shown. みんなのふつう's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phantom Word sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and みんなのふつう sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
