# Chapitres vs Lexu.

The clearest difference is rating: Lexu. at 5.0 against Chapitres's 3.5. Lexu. also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chapitres sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Lexu. sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lexu. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Chapitres's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lexu.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chapitres ships an update every 10 days, Lexu. weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
