# Write A Book vs FLYT

The clearest difference is update cadence: Write A Book at every 5 days against FLYT's every 5 weeks. FLYT's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Write A Book sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and FLYT sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Write A Book against 5.0 for FLYT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FLYT has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Write A Book ships an update every 5 days, FLYT every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
