The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Thelonious at none against GuitarGuide's 2. Thelonious also leads on ads (none vs shown). GuitarGuide's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GuitarGuide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Thelonious asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for GuitarGuide against 5.0 for Thelonious. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GuitarGuide has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
