# The Daily Verse vs Bible Touch

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bible Touch at free with in-app purchases against The Daily Verse's subscription. Bible Touch also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). The Daily Verse's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Daily Verse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Bible Touch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Daily Verse ships an update every 2 weeks, Bible Touch every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
