# Speedy Chef vs E

The clearest difference is ads: E at none against Speedy Chef's shown. E also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Speedy Chef's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedy Chef sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and E sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speedy Chef ships an update every 3 weeks, E every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
