# Magic Jam! vs Screw Unlock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magic Jam! at every 11 days against Screw Unlock's every 3 weeks. On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Jam! sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Screw Unlock sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screw Unlock holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.5K and 655 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Magic Jam!'s written reviews are positive against 44% of Screw Unlock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Jam! ships an update every 11 days, Screw Unlock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
