# RoutineGuide vs Ritual

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ritual at every 8 days against RoutineGuide's every 2 months. RoutineGuide's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoutineGuide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Ritual sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RoutineGuide ships an update every 2 months, Ritual every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
