# RoutineGuide vs SlotNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: SlotNote at every 3 weeks against RoutineGuide's every 2 months. RoutineGuide's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoutineGuide sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SlotNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RoutineGuide ships an update every 2 months, SlotNote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
