# Hookr vs Pocket Notifier

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hookr at every 3 days against Pocket Notifier's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hookr sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Pocket Notifier sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hookr ships an update every 3 days, Pocket Notifier every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
