# CoreFocus vs Pomofish

The clearest difference is ads: Pomofish at none against CoreFocus's shown. CoreFocus's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoreFocus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Pomofish sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CoreFocus ships an update every 4 weeks, Pomofish every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
