# Digilog Camera vs MotionCam Pro

The clearest difference is price: Digilog Camera at Free against MotionCam Pro's $29.99. Digilog Camera also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (22 vs 3). MotionCam Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (82% vs 67%). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Digilog Camera is free to download; MotionCam Pro costs $29.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Digilog Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digilog Camera has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Digilog Camera's written reviews are positive against 82% of MotionCam Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Digilog Camera ships an update every 2 months, MotionCam Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
