# PE Lite vs Easy Connect SSH

The clearest difference is ads: Easy Connect SSH at none against PE Lite's shown. PE Lite's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PE Lite sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Easy Connect SSH sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PE Lite ships an update fortnightly, Easy Connect SSH every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
