# NFC vs e

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: e at none against NFC's 5. e also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). NFC's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NFC sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. e asks for nothing beyond the download.

NFC ships an update every 2 days, e every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 8, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
