# HookedUp vs FishCap

The clearest difference is update cadence: FishCap at every 3 days against HookedUp's every 3 weeks. HookedUp's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HookedUp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and FishCap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HookedUp ships an update every 3 weeks, FishCap every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
