# TextMath vs FlexCalc

The clearest difference is update cadence: TextMath at every 5 days against FlexCalc's every 3 weeks. FlexCalc's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextMath sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FlexCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TextMath ships an update every 5 days, FlexCalc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
