# Weighplate vs Lifter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lifter at weekly against Weighplate's fortnightly. Lifter also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weighplate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Lifter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weighplate ships an update fortnightly, Lifter weekly. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
