# Herizen vs MeD

The clearest difference is update cadence: Herizen at every 3 days against MeD's fortnightly. Herizen also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Herizen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MeD sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Herizen ships an update every 3 days, MeD fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
