# Felix VPN vs Welcome VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Welcome VPN at 5.0 against Felix VPN's 4.2. Welcome VPN also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). Felix VPN's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Felix VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Welcome VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

Welcome VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 32 and 20 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Felix VPN's written reviews are positive against 97% of Welcome VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Felix VPN ships an update every 6 weeks, Welcome VPN every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
