# IntervalTimer Duo vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse at every 4 days against IntervalTimer Duo's every 3 weeks. Pulse also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.1). IntervalTimer Duo's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IntervalTimer Duo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IntervalTimer Duo ships an update every 3 weeks, Pulse every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
