# Dotly vs EyeMed

The clearest difference is update cadence: EyeMed at every 6 days against Dotly's every 5 weeks. EyeMed also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). Dotly's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dotly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EyeMed sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dotly ships an update every 5 weeks, EyeMed every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
