# Diary vs Pudding Notebook

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pudding Notebook at every 5 days against Diary's every 3 weeks. Pudding Notebook also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pudding Notebook sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diary ships an update every 3 weeks, Pudding Notebook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
