# Diary vs Re

The clearest difference is update cadence: Re at weekly against Diary's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Re sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diary ships an update every 3 weeks, Re weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
