# Chat Notes vs MinDrop

The clearest difference is update cadence: MinDrop at every 2 days against Chat Notes's every 10 days. Chat Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chat Notes ships an update every 10 days, MinDrop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
