# Taiba vs Self Notify

The clearest difference is update cadence: Taiba at every 4 days against Self Notify's every 5 weeks. Taiba also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taiba sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Self Notify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taiba ships an update every 4 days, Self Notify every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
