# Wool Knit vs Wool Off

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wool Off at 36% against Wool Knit's 0%. Wool Off also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). Wool Knit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wool Knit sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Wool Off sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wool Knit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wool Off has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Wool Knit's written reviews are positive against 36% of Wool Off's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wool Knit ships an update every 5 days, Wool Off every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
